Peterson Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. At Peterson Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Peterson Lake. Go for a hike on the Bear Creek Trail, and taking a little tour to close by Inspiration Point is a wonderful idea. After a long day

A quick spree to Goose Creek in the vicinity of Peterson Lake is a great idea, and a good location to camp here at Peterson Lake is Auke Bay RV Park. is near Peterson Lake, and Peterson Lake is not the only place close by, Windfall Lake is a close by lake. Going for a hike on the Montana Creek Trail is always a good adventure. Peterson Lake is a rather wet place regularly with
a good deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is October, and April on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Spruce Meadow Recreational Vehicle Park, and Pearsons Pond Inn and Spa is a great place to get some rest.
