Petersburg Lake is a lake worth visiting. Near Petersburg Lake you hit upon the Duncan Canal Portage which is a wonderful hiking trail, and Twin Creek RV Park is a splendid local campground. Going for a hike on the Petersburg Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and Le Conte RV Park is a delightful campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There are nice spots to discover along the Colp Lake Trail.

Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Petersburg Lake. The high level of rain makes Petersburg Lake a pretty wet location; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is June. | |
