Many people like to go to Petersburg Lake. Lakes are such calm spots, why not stop by Colp Lake in the neighborhood of Petersburg Lake; there's good hiking along the Duncan Canal Portage. Le Conte RV Park is a splendid local campground. Petersburg Lake commonly gets a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is June. This lake is so wonderful. Salt Chuck is a good lake in the vicinity of Petersburg Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Petersburg Lake; Petersburg Trail is a nice local trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Colp Lake Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Twin Creek RV Park is a good site to camp.
