After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Kodiak is a glorious spot to spend a night or two, and a golf course nearby is Bear Valley Golf Course. Summer at Peninsula Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's with night lows in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter       for Peninsula Lake tend to be in the 20's. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. The nice folks of Kodiak like to hang out close by; lakes are such calm places, why not check out Heitman Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Nyman Peninsula is close by and always splendid to take a look at, and a day at picturesque Finny Beach near Peninsula Lake is a splendid thing to do. Stay the night at Zachar Bay Lodge; Nyman Spit is another delightful                  location to visit nearby. Dragonfly Lake is a wonderful lake close to Peninsula Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Kodiak Inn is a fine choice. Peninsula Lake is a relatively wet place commonly with a great deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that snows the most, and July on the other hand is the driest.
