    Many people like to go to Pats Lake. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Pats Lake. On a pleasant day at Pats Lake you can take a hike along the Long Lake Trail, and enjoy a round of golf at Wrangell Golf Course. A lake close by is Wrangell Upper Reservoir; don't forget to take a look at Shoemaker Bay since you're here. Summertime at Pats Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the  
   40's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Pats Lake are in the 20's.
While you're here at Pats Lake you can take a hike along the Thoms Lake Trail, and if the weather is wonderful, you obtain a glorious view of Chichagof Peak from Pats Lake. Pats Lake frequently gets a lot of rain; most of the rain falls throughout October, and the driest month is June.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a perfect hiking trail
 
               near Pats Lake called the Highbush Lake Trail, obviously you could also stop at Wrangell Lower Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. There's some flowing water close by, McCormack Creek is a stream you can take a look at while here, and there are some great whitewater spots on Stikine River.
