Paradise Lakes usually gets a large amount of rain; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is May. Paradise Lakes is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Beaver Pond Campground is a tremendous site to camp nearby. Nellie Juan River is a great whitewater spot right next door to Paradise Lakes; hiking is a popular thing to do around Paradise Lakes;       Johnson Pass Trail is a good local trail. Good hiking is available along the Paradise Valley Trail, and if you need a site to stay The Hotel Alyeska is a splendid choice. For the period of the warm months highs here at Paradise Lakes reach the 60's, and the nighttime is a tad colder of course, commonly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Paradise Lakes drop into the                  10's. This lake is so wonderful.
