The warmest time of the year at Paradise Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Paradise Lakes overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. After a long day outdoors The Hotel Alyeska is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two, and Paradise Lakes is right by the Paradise Valley       Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lower Paradise Lake is a splendid lake close to Paradise Lakes, and hiking along the Johnson Pass Trail is splendid fun. Get drenched paddling on Portage River; if you came for an overnight stay Portage Valley RV Park and Cabin Rentals is a good spot to camp. Beaver Pond Campground is a good campground nearby. Lakes? Sure, Upper Paradise Lake is close at hand. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Paradise Lakes.                  Whitewater paddling is glorious on Nellie Juan River.
