It's always fun to stop by Otter Lake. Otter Lake is typically a pretty dried out site; most of the rain falls through September; April on the other hand is the driest. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Otter Lake reach the 60's; the night is somewhat cooler of course, usually in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are regularly in the 10's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Otter Lake sink into the 0's. This lake is so

| | wonderful. You can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Hilltop; do schedule some time to take a look at Eagle Bay if you have a chance. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect site to camp here at Otter Lake is Golden Nugget Camper Park, and everybody loves Eagle River Flats. Yeah, come here to Otter Lake for a great time. whitewater paddling right next door to Otter Lake is Ship Creek; Katmai National Park & Preserve is a very perfect place to pop by. This place, Otter Lake, it truly has so much outdoors cool stuff. Sixmile Lake is a fine lake
in close proximity to Otter Lake. Otter Lake Dam is charming and it's next to Otter Lake, and the Bull Rock Trail is a good hiking trail close by. There are other places here than Otter Lake, for example Cheney Lake, and if you're
visiting from Anchorage, you won't be the only one. Skiing at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley is one of those things you just ought to do, and Country Rose Manor B&B is a great place to get some rest. Otter Lake is magnificent enough
to spend more than a day at, Centennial and Lions Campground is a magnificent local campground, and get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Campbell Creek.

 | Absolutely perfect!! We were blessed with good weather on our Alaska tour! The folks at Golden Nugget were so helpful. They knew the area and what was a must see for us. The grounds were well kept and the showers CLEAN!!!...Very nice, clean and quiet RV Park!! Lots of room to stroll around and relax.
Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. We have been going there for the past 3 years - it is the largest and best park in Anchorage!! Enjoyed their evening BBQs and entertainment!!
