Everybody nearby loves skiing at Hilltop, and if you're visiting from Anchorage, you won't be the only one. Do schedule some time to explore Eagle Bay in close proximity to Otter Lake if you have a chance; dry warm beds await you at SpringHill Suites Anchorage University Lake. Now, you may imagine that's       lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Otter Lake. Otter Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Golden Nugget Camper Park is a good local campground. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling near Otter Lake is Ship Creek, and Ramada Limited Anchorage is a tremendous spot to get some rest. It is very dehydrated here at Otter Lake generally; September is the month that gets the most rain, and April meanwhile is the driest month. This                  lake is so wonderful. Why not stop at Otter Lake Dam while you're here; Sixmile Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. If the weather is good here at Otter Lake, you can go for a hike along the Bull Rock Trail, and the skiing at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley is delightful. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Otter Lake get into the 60's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and night lows throughout the wintertime for Otter Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Clunie Creek is a stream you can explore while here, and you can run the rapids of Campbell Creek. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Otter Lake.
