Lake Otis is always a pleasure to visit. If the weather is perfect here at Lake Otis, you can go for a hike along the Bull Rock Trail; Katmai National Park & Preserve is a splendid place close by. There's whitewater on Ship Creek for all you thrill seekers. Not far from Lake Otis, you'll hit upon Goose Lake which is a picturesque lake, and if you need a location to stay Residence Inn By Marriott Anchorage Midtown is a magnificent choice. This lake is so

There's so much to do here at Lake Otis that you need to camp here for a while, John's RV Park and Motel is a great site for that, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Campbell Creek. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Hilltop while you're here; near Lake Otis you hit upon a golf course called Anchorage Golf Course. the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Middle Fork Chester Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth checking out, and there are plenty of people from Anchorage here at Lake Otis. You'll need more than a
day to discover everything Lake Otis has to offer, you can camp at Finger Lake Resort, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Waldron Lake. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Lake Otis,
too splendid to be true. What would winter be without some skiing at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley, and dry warm beds await you at Alaskan European B&B. Summertime highs at Lake Otis regularly tend to be in the 60's, and during the
night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lake Otis.

 | Absolutely perfect!! We were blessed with good weather on our Alaska tour! The folks at Golden Nugget were so helpful. They knew the area and what was a must see for us. The grounds were well kept and the showers CLEAN!!!...Very nice, clean and quiet RV Park!! Lots of room to stroll around and relax.
Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. We have been going there for the past 3 years - it is the largest and best park in Anchorage!! Enjoyed their evening BBQs and entertainment!!
