Lakes are such serene places, why not check out Sashin Lake in the vicinity of Lake Osprey, and as expected Sashin Creek flows through this area. Lake Ospery Dam is wonderful and it's in the vicinity of Lake Osprey, and Lake Ospery is a good lake close by. Going for a hike along the Davidof Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Throughout the days of summer at Lake Osprey temperatures are frequently in the 60's with night lows in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Osprey dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Sitka National Historical Park is recommended; why not stop by Denmark Cove also since you're here. | |
