In Alaska there are many beautiful lakes, O'Connell Lake is one of them. Man, is there a load of entertaining stuff to do near O'Connell Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Hilltop since you're here, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Ship Creek. A great location to camp here at O'Connell Lake is Highlander Camper Park, and Port of Anchorage has good water scenery. Have a great hiking adventure along the Bull Rock Trail;

If only every place had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great earth it would be. For the duration of the months of summer at O'Connell Lake highs are typically in the 60's, and the nighttime is rather colder of course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's, and overnight lows all through the winter for O'Connell Lake tend to be in the 0's. | |

Around O'Connell Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; through the month of September you get the most rain around here while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty
of folks from Anchorage here at O'Connell Lake; Waldron Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Little Campbell Creek flows through this neighborhood, and what would winter be without some skiing at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley.
If you need a site to stay Embassy Suites Anchorage is a glorious choice, and a golf course close by is Anchorage Golf Course.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Hillside Motel and RV Park while you're here at O'Connell
Lake; a lake nearby is Campbell Lake. After a long day outdoors Springhill Suites By Marriott Anchorage is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and if time allows, Katmai National Park & Preserve is a national park worth going to.
