It is very waterless here at O'Connell Lake mostly; the month with most of the rain is September, and April on the other hand is the driest. High temperatures at O'Connell Lake all through the summer months are in the 60's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; night lows at O'Connell Lake throughout the wintertime ordinarily fall into the 0's. This lake       is so wonderful. Port of Anchorage has perfect water scenery and it's near O'Connell Lake. There's so much to do here at O'Connell Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hillside Motel and RV Park is a good place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Here at O'Connell Lake there are plenty of people from Anchorage, and the snow is glorious at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley. Campbell Creek is a glorious whitewater spot near O'Connell Lake, and a golf course                  nearby is Anchorage Golf Course. What a spot this is for outdoors people. Waldron Lake is a tremendous lake near O'Connell Lake, and a day on the slopes of Hilltop is just what you need. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff close to O'Connell Lake. If you need a location to stay Embassy Suites Anchorage is a magnificent choice; you can stay the night at Highlander Camper Park. Dry warm beds await you at Springhill Suites By Marriott Anchorage; close by you hit upon the Bull Rock Trail which is a good hiking trail.
