Nugget Creek is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Summertime highs at Nugget Creek mostly tend to be in the 60's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's while Nugget Creek night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. Nugget Creek Dam is not far at all from Nugget Creek; you'll find a beautiful lake called Mendenhall Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Juneau

Get yourself into a kayak and hit Montana Creek, and the Nugget Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Nugget Creek has to offer, you can camp at Spruce Meadow Recreational Vehicle Park, and do go to Dredge Lake, it's a picturesque lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Nugget Creek; West Glacier Trail is a magnificent
local trail; a glorious nearby hotel is Pearsons Pond Inn and Spa. Get soaked paddling on Mendenhall River. There's so much to do here at Nugget Creek that you need to camp here for a while, Auke Bay RV Park is a glorious spot for
that. Gotta ski! Eaglecrest is a splendid place to do that.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Nugget Creek a wet place; October is the month that gets the most rain, and April on the other hand is the driest.
