by the West Glacier Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Montana Creek. Hiking along the Nugget Creek Trail is glorious fun, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Mendenhall
River. Going for a hike along the Spaulding Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Nugget Creek Dam is not far at all from Nugget Creek; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Mendenhall Lake.
