High temperatures at Muddy Lake during the days of summer are in the 60's with overnight lows in the 50's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Muddy Lake. Around Muddy Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; September is when you get the most rain here, and April meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something close to Muddy Lake? Alpine       Lake is around here; the Russian Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best. Bear Mountain is charming and can be seen from Muddy Lake; nice hiking is available along the Fuller Lake Trail. You could also explore Pothole Lake while you're here at Muddy Lake; it's close by, and there's wonderful hiking along the Schooner Bend Trail. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great world it would be.
