At Moose Creek Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most; April on the other hand is the driest. There's always Chena River Lakes Dam to go to close to Moose Creek Reservoir, and if you came for an overnight stay Riverview Mobile Home and RV Park       is a tremendous place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Santaland RV Park, and a good nearby hotel is A Taste of Alaska Lodge. Summertime highs at Moose Creek Reservoir usually tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. During the winter the highs are frequently in the-10's while Moose Creek Reservoir nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the-20's.
