Monterey Lake is a nice lake to visit. You'll locate a gorgeous lake called Monterey Lake near Monterey Lake, and a great close by hotel is Pikes Waterfront Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Gates Of The Arctic National Park & Preserve is recommended; there are plenty of folks from Fairbanks here.

If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because North Star Golf Club is in close proximity, and Clear Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Monterey Lake is nice fun, Riverview RV Park is a nice local campground, and Birch Hill is charming and can be observed from here.

Lake RV Park is a splendid site to camp, and Mt Aurora Skiland has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff. Monterey Lake gets very little precipitation; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and April is
the month with the least moisture. The warmest time of the year at Monterey Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 0's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Monterey Lake descend into the-10's.
