The Talkeetna Mountains scenery is always beautiful. At Mirror Lake through the summertime highs are in the 60's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 10's while Mirror Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. At Mirror Lake you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls all through September while April is usually the       driest month. Some of the water close by flows, like Eklutna River; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Edmonds Lake.
