For the period of the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 60's at Minor Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 10's while Minor Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. Not much precipitation falls here at Minor Lake; during September this area sees the most rain, and April meanwhile is the driest month. This lake       is so wonderful. Do stop at Edmonds Lake in close proximity to Minor Lake, it's a picturesque lake, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Eagle River. So much fun stuff to do here at Minor Lake, too great to be true. Minor Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day, Thunder Bird Falls Campground is a great location to camp nearby, and a great nearby hotel is ALASKAS SELECT INN WASILLA. A beautiful lake like Mirror Lake in close proximity                  to Minor Lake is a great spot to have a look at, and if you need a location to stay Grand View Inn And Suites is a magnificent choice. This location, the Talkeetna Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining things. Peters Creek Campground is a good campground nearby, and a quick spree to Eklutna River is positively a good idea.
