If you came for an overnight stay Tanana Valley Campground is a splendid location to camp, and golf can be played at Fairbanks Golf & Country Club. Not much rainfall falls here at Middle Lake; August is the wettest month with most rain; April on the other hand is the driest.

The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 0's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Middle Lake tend to be in the-20's. This lake is so wonderful. Gates Of The Arctic National Park & Preserve is a good site right next door to Middle Lake, and Fairbanks Super 8 Motel is a magnificent location to get some rest.
