Mendenhall Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A lake nearby is Dredge Lake, and why not take a look at Nugget Creek Dam while you're here. Montana Creek is a magnificent whitewater spot close to Mendenhall Lake, and Nugget Creek is a nearby lake that you could pop by. There is a splendid hiking trail in the vicinity of Mendenhall Lake called the West Glacier Trail; a nice close by hotel is Pearsons Pond Inn and Spa. This

| | lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Nugget Creek Trail is always a great adventure; camping is available at Auke Bay RV Park. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Mendenhall Lake. Camping at Spruce Meadow Recreational Vehicle Park is always a great experience, and you can run the rapids of Mendenhall River. Go for a hike on the Spaulding Trail. This lake is so wonderful. to, and the wonderful folks of Juneau like to hang out nearby. Hit the slopes at Eaglecrest close at hand, and Juneau Super 8 Motel is a good place to get some rest. A lot of rain falls at Mendenhall Lake; the month with most of the
rain is October while April is typically the driest month. Through the summer months at Mendenhall Lake highs are commonly in the 60's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The cold days
of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Mendenhall Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
