Visnaw Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Hilltop while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the summer at Meadow Lakes highs are mostly in the 60's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Meadow Lakes. It is very       dry here at Meadow Lakes typically; throughout the month of September you get the most rain around here, and April on the other hand is the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful Talkeetna Mountains. If you haven’t been to Katmai National Park & Preserve, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here; you can stay the night at Riverside Camper Park. What a location this is for outdoors people. While you're here at Meadow Lakes, you could                  also have a look at charming Lake Lalen; paddling on Eagle River is so much fun. Very charming scenery and splendid skiing is what you get at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley; if you need a location to stay Microtel Inn and Suites Anchorage Area -Eagle River- is a magnificent choice. These mountains rock, just check out all the amusing stuff to do in the Talkeetna Mountains. Here at Meadow Lakes you'll perhaps meet some people from Anchorage, and Meadow Lakes is a great location to visit for more than one day, Alaskan Trails Rv and Camper Park is a great location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
