The wonderful people of Anchorage like to hang out nearby. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Meadow Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Riverside Camper Park. Meadow Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Talkeetna Mountains. This site, the Talkeetna Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Willow Creek, and       Best Western Lake Lucille Inn is a nice spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Katmai National Park & Preserve is a brilliant local destination here at Meadow Lakes, and while you're here, you could also pop by beautiful Airolo Lake. For the period of the summer months here at Meadow Lakes, high temperatures regularly get into the 60's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are                  generally in the 10's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Meadow Lakes. That right there is loads already, but it continues; Meadow Lakes has it all. The slopes of Alpenglow At Arctic Valley are so inviting noone can resist. There's so much to do here at Meadow Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Hidden Heaven RV Park is a great place for that. If you need a location to stay Ramada Limited Anchorage is a nice choice; there's whitewater on Eagle River for all you adrenaline kick people. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Talkeetna Mountains, not enough time. Gotta ski! Hilltop is a fine place to do that.
