Man, is there lots of cool things to do close to McLeod Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Gold Miners Hotel; a good place for whitewater paddling is Little Susitna River. Around McLeod Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls through September while April is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Fishhook Golf Course; if you need       a spot to stay Agate Inn is a tremendous choice. A pretty lake like High Ridge Lake in close proximity to McLeod Lake is a great site to visit; why not camp at Homestead RV Campground since you're here at McLeod Lake.
