Go for a hike on the Mitchell Bay Trail; you're most likely into lakes, Lake Guerin is one of those nearby. At McKinney Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 60's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at McKinney Lake. There are good places to explore along       the Hasselborg-Guerin Trail, and unsurprisingly, this is a wonderful region for folks who like lakes, Coo Lake is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave McKinney Lake without first going for a hike along the Distin Lake Trail, and if you need a site to stay Prospector Hotel is a magnificent choice.
