Dry warm beds await you at Agate Inn, and if you get bored of Matanuska Lake you could also stop by nearby Johnson Lake. At Matanuska Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 60's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings       highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Matanuska Lake are in the 0's. Having a good time at Matanuska Lake is easy. That right there is plenty of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Talkeetna Mountains has it all.
