This lake is so wonderful. You're most likely hooked on lakes, Pinta Lake is one of those nearby, and nearby you hit upon the Silver Bay Trail which is a good hiking trail. Through the summer highs here at Lucky Chance Lakes reach the 60's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's.       Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lucky Chance Lakes. Go for a hike on the Indian River Trail, and a perfect vista of scenic Lucky Chance Mountain is available. Super 8 Sitka is a great place to get some rest.
