This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Admiralty Cove - Tongass National Forest; while you're here, do take a tour to Bald Headed Cove. A glorious close by hotel is Westcoast Cape Fox Lodge; do go to Fawn Lake, it's a beautiful lake. Lower and Upper Ketchikan Lakes gets a great deal of water; the month of October       is the wettest with most of the rain; July is when it's the driest. You get a good panorama of Deer Mountains from Lower and Upper Ketchikan Lakes, and Tongass/Ketchikan National Forest is a forest that you can go to. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Lower and Upper Ketchikan Lakes you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Ketchikan; why not camp at Alava Bay Cabin - Tongass National Forest while you're here at Lower and Upper Ketchikan Lakes. Be careful                  coming to Lower and Upper Ketchikan Lakes, you might not ever wanna return home again. After a long day outdoors Inn at Creek St. and NY Hotel is a good place to spend a night or two, and Granite Basin is a scenic place any time of year. Through the warm months at Lower and Upper Ketchikan Lakes highs are regularly in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Lower and Upper Ketchikan Lakes dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
