     Lower Summit Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lower Summit Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Henry's One Stop is a great place for that; there are some nice whitewater spots on Sixmile River. For the duration of the warm months at Lower Summit Lake temperatures are regularly in the 60's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 20's  
   while Lower Summit Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Lower Summit Lake; through October this area sees the most rain while May is frequently the driest month.
If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lower Summit Lake. A visit to Kenai Fjords National Park is worthwhile; it's a delightful idea to pop by Block Creek. Hiking along the Grant Lake Trail
 
               is good fun; get yourself into a kayak and hit Canyon Creek. Take a hike on the Devils Pass Trail.
Dry warm beds await you at Trail Lake Lodge. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lower Summit Lake has to offer, you can camp at Coeur D'Alene Campground. Lower Summit Lake is right by the Carter Lake Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Hotel Edgewater and Conference Center is a splendid choice.
