During the summer months at Lower Paradise Lake temperatures are frequently in the 60's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Lower Paradise Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. All the water falling down from       the sky makes Lower Paradise Lake a wet site; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain, and May is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Johnson Pass Trail, and Nellie Juan River is a great whitewater spot nearby. Why not camp at Bertha Creek Campground if you're here at Lower Paradise Lake, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater                  paddling on Portage River. Go for a hike on the Paradise Valley Trail; camping is available at Portage Valley RV Park and Cabin Rentals. So many entertaining things to do here at Lower Paradise Lake, too brilliant to be true.
