This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. You're perhaps addicted to lakes, Upper Fire Lake is one of those nearby. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lower Fire Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hidden Heaven RV Park. While you're       here at Lower Fire Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Anchorage, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Bird Creek Trail. Lower Fire Lake is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Eagle River Campground is a brilliant place to camp nearby, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Eagle River. Summertime brings highs in the 60's to Lower Fire Lake while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs                  are in the 10's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Lower Fire Lake temperatures descend to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. This is a glorious neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Psalm Lake is a lake around here; Katmai National Park & Preserve is a great national park.
