This lake is so wonderful. Louise Lake is not the only site nearby, Star Lake is a nearby lake, naturally you could also take a look at Threemile Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Dry warm beds await you at McCarthy Lodge & The Ma Johnsons Hotel, and whitewater       paddling is perfect on Chakina River. Not much rain falls here at Louise Lake; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is April. High temperatures at Louise Lake during the summer are in the 60's with overnight lows in the 40's.
