Lots of rain falls at Long Lake; October is the wettest month with most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. Near Long Lake you hit upon the Highbush Lake Trail which is a great hiking trail, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Ketchikan for sure. This lake is so wonderful. There is a delightful hiking trail in close proximity to Long Lake called the Long Lake Trail. For the period of the       summer months here at Long Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 60's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Long Lake temperatures drop to the 20's.
