Hit the slopes at Hilltop close by, and Alaskan Trails Rv and Camper Park is a perfect campground nearby. It's a great idea to have a look at Little Meadow Creek, it's right next door to Long Lake; there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Willow Creek. Long Lake is a location that is       rather arid regularly; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain; April is the month with the least moisture. If only every spot had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great globe it would be. Do pay a visit to Katmai National Park & Preserve while you're here at Long Lake; there are plenty of folks from Anchorage here at Long Lake. Not far from Long Lake, you'll locate Long Lake which is a pretty lake, and after a long day outdoors                  SpringHill Suites Anchorage University Lake is a nice place to spend a night or two. During the summer highs here at Long Lake reach the 60's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Long Lake descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful.
