Near Long Lake you come across the Chickaloon Knik Nelchina Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and drift down the rapids of Coal Creek in a kayak. This is a glorious neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Wiener Lake is a lake close by, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Chickaloon River. This lake is located in the wonderful Talkeetna Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably       keen on lakes, Upper Bonnie Lake is one of those close by, and don't forget to take a great little spree to Ninemile Creek. Not much rain falls here at Long Lake; July is the wettest month with most rain, and April meanwhile is the driest month. All through the summertime at Long Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 60's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's.
