Lonesome Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Polar Bear Inn is a wonderful place to camp nearby, and if you need a place to stay Courtyard By Marriott Anchorage is a nice choice. It is very dehydrated here at Lonesome Lake regularly; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is April. This lake is so wonderful. Trapper Joe Lake is a delightful lake       in the neighborhood of Lonesome Lake; the Fuller Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. So much cool stuff to do at Lonesome Lake, so little time. Stay the night at Montana Creek Campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Schooner Bend Trail. Lakes? Sure, Moose Pasture Lake is nearby, and there's whitewater on Kenai River for all you adrenaline kick people. For the period of the long summer days at Lonesome Lake highs are generally in the 60's,                  and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
