The Talkeetna Mountains scenery is always beautiful. A brilliant place to camp here at Loberg Lake is Mountain View RV Park, and as expected Rabbit Slough is a pretty stream that is worth stopping at. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Loberg Lake. So much amusing stuff in the Talkeetna Mountains, just impressive. Why not camp at Thunder Bird Falls Campground since you're here at Loberg Lake,       and a lake nearby is Clear Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Susitna River; Creekside Cabins is a pleasant place to get some rest. It is very dehydrated here at Loberg Lake usually; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is April. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Agate Inn, and if you come at the right time of year, Archangel Creek offers some great whitewater. For the period of the summertime                  highs here at Loberg Lake get into the 60's; the overnight is a bit cooler of course, commonly in the 40's.
