Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Talkeetna Mountains. You're most likely keen on lakes, Hunter Lake is one of those nearby, and obviously, this is a perfect neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Long Lake is a lake around here. Why not camp at Grand View Cafe Campground while you're here at Little Lake, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Matanuska River - East Fork and Main Stem. It is very dehydrated       here at Little Lake ordinarily; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and April on the other hand is the driest. All through the days of summer here at Little Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 60's; the nighttime is a little cooler of course, generally in the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 0's, and night lows at Little Lake all through the wintertime commonly fall into the-20's.
