Little Bear Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This is a great neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Bear Lake is a lake around here; why not take a little visit to Bear Creek while you're here. High temperatures at Little Bear Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 60's; the nighttime is fairly colder of course, commonly in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the

is a lake that's close to Little Bear Lake, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Canyon Creek. If the weather is good here at Little Bear Lake, you can go for a
hike along the Paradise Valley Trail, and Kenai Fjords National Park is one of the destinations that are good to stop by nearby. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Little Bear Lake has it all. If you need a location
to stay Holiday Inn Express SEWARD HARBOR is a perfect choice; the Grant Lake Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby.

Carter Lake Trail
 | 13 miles away 1 PHOTO Took the hike from the Seward highway and it was a very well maintained trail and good parking lot with even bathrooms. The hike was very intense and switch backed multiple times. Tiny streams cross your path. Once up top it is beautiful. After some time walking threw the alpine, you come across a trail which to the left take you to the lake and to the right takes you to the bear box and camping area. It's a stocked lake so bring your rod.... |
Johnson Lake

Is stocked w/trout, but that doesn't mean they are stupid fish! sorry about the poor picture, but gives you an idea... Johnsons Lake is an amazing place for family camping. The lake is great to swim in and has alot of fish to catch.... |
