A great nearby hotel is Ramada Limited Anchorage, and a nice site for whitewater paddling is Eagle River. This place, Lilly Lake, it just has so much outdoors cool stuff. Gotta ski! Alpenglow At Arctic Valley is a tremendous location to do that, and you can run the rapids of Willow Creek. If you need a location to stay Microtel Inn and Suites Anchorage Area -Eagle River-       is a splendid choice, and if you have the time, Katmai National Park & Preserve is a national park worth checking out. Lilly Lake gets very little rain; during September this area sees the most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you're visiting Lilly Lake from Anchorage, you won't be the only one, and Lilly Lake is not the only spot nearby, Corcoran Lake is a nearby lake. The Talkeetna Mountains scenery is always beautiful.                  This lake is so wonderful. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is plentiful here in the Talkeetna Mountains. Alaskan Trails Rv and Camper Park is a magnificent local campground, and beautiful scenery and wonderful skiing is what you obtain at Hilltop. Summertime brings highs in the 60's to Lilly Lake. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's with temperatures at Lilly Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
