Go for a hike on the Kruzof Island Trail, and while you're here, you might as well pop by Vincent Reef. Don't leave Lake Leo without first going for a hike along the Mount Edgecumbe Trail; a magnificent nearby hotel is FRANK AND GLORIAS PLACE. Not far from Lake Leo you obtain some pleasant water scenery at Leo Anchorage, and a trip to Point Leo is always a pleasant idea. Take a side       visit to Leo Creek. Lake Leo gets a lot of water; October is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is April. At Lake Leo through the summer highs are in the 60's, and the nighttime is quite chillier of course, commonly in the 40's.
