A tremendous close by hotel is Westcoast Cape Fox Lodge, and Alava Bay Cabin - Tongass National Forest is a glorious local campground. Leask Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. Looking for something near Leask       Lake? Upper Wolf Lake is in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. You could also go to Lake Harriet Hunt if you're here at Leask Lake; it's close by, and Inn at Creek St. and NY Hotel is a fine location to get some rest.
