You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area right next door to Lazy Lake has to offer. Camping is available at John's RV Park and Motel, and there are plenty of folks from Anchorage here. After a long day outdoors SpringHill Suites Anchorage University Lake is a nice place to spend       a night or two, and Triangle Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Campbell Creek, and Katmai National Park & Preserve is a very tremendous place to check out. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Alpenglow At Arctic Valley is next to Lazy Lake; hey, Sixmile Creek is a splendid local stream. You can take a                  little trip to Gregory Lake Dam if you're here at Lazy Lake, and Ship Creek has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by. Hilltop is a perfect local ski area, and if you get bored of Lazy Lake you could also stop at close by Tuomi Lake. Lazy Lake is pretty arid generally; through September this area sees the most rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. And that's not all you can do here at Lazy Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 60's to Lazy Lake, and the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lazy Lake are in the 0's.
