A glorious site for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Lazy Lake is Ship Creek, and a picturesque lake like Tuomi Lake is a pleasant place to stop at. Summertime at Lazy Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Lazy Lake temperatures dip       to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Campbell Creek close to Lazy Lake; the snow is great at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley. A day on the slopes of Hilltop is just what you need, and Sixmile Creek is close to Lazy Lake and is always a delight to go to. The Bull Rock Trail is a wonderful hiking trail next to Lazy Lake, and Alaskan European B&B is a tremendous site to get some rest. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more                  amusing stuff to do here at Lazy Lake. If you haven’t been to Katmai National Park & Preserve, you must schedule some time for it since you're here; if you came to camp Golden Nugget Camper Park is a tremendous location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a perfect close by course is Anchorage Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Lazy Lake that you need to camp here for a while, John's RV Park and Motel is a pleasant place for that. Not much precipitation falls here at Lazy Lake; during September this area sees the most rain, and April is when it's the driest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not visit Triangle Lake right next door to Lazy Lake; at Lazy Lake you always meet someone from Anchorage. Very splendid water scenery is available at Gregory Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Lazy Lake, and after a long day outdoors Red Roof Inn Anchorage is a good spot to spend a night or two.   Alaskan European B&B, Anchorage 3 miles away The property is in a wooded quiet neighborhood mid-town, close to shopping and restaurants.
