During the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 60's at Lakina Lake. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 0's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Lakina Lake drop into the-20's. This lake is so wonderful. McCarthy Lodge & The Ma Johnsons Hotel is a pleasant spot to get some rest, and       you're probably interested in lakes, Crystal Lake is one of those close by. Lakina Lake is pretty waterless frequently; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and April on the other hand is the driest. That right there is a lot of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Wrangell Mountains has it all.
