This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Anchorage here, and Ramada Limited Anchorage is a magnificent place to get some rest. Lake 'O' the Hills is generally a quite waterless site; most of the rain falls through September while April is usually the driest month. Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Campbell Creek, and dry warm beds await       you at Country Rose Manor B&B. During the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 60's at Lake 'O' the Hills. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lake 'O' the Hills dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Patricks Beach (not official); you can run the rapids of Ship Creek. This                  is a tremendous region for people who like lakes. Lake Hideaway is a lake close by; Golden Nugget Camper Park is a splendid campground nearby. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Lake 'O' the Hills. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Hilltop, and Lake 'O' the Hills is a magnificent spot to visit for more than one day, Centennial and Lions Campground is a magnificent spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Cheney Lake, and delightful skiing awaits you at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley.
