It's always fun to stop by Lake 'O' the Hills. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Hilltop since you're here, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Bull Rock Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 60's to Lake 'O' the Hills. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. | | see much rainfall; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain while April is ordinarily the driest month. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Katmai National Park & Preserve is a very brilliant place to stop at next to Lake 'O' the Hills; get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Campbell Creek. Dry warm beds await you at Ramada Limited Anchorage; Cheney Lake is a fine lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Very charming scenery and tremendous skiing is what you get at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley, and if you need a spot to stay Country Rose Manor B&B is a glorious choice. A day at beautiful Patricks Beach (not official) close to Lake
'O' the Hills is a wonderful thing to do, and there are other places here than Lake 'O' the Hills, for example Lake Hideaway. A tremendous spot for whitewater paddling near Lake 'O' the Hills is Ship Creek; a great location to camp
here at Lake 'O' the Hills is Golden Nugget Camper Park. This lake is so wonderful. People from Anchorage love to come to Lake 'O' the Hills, and why not camp at Centennial and Lions Campground if you're here at Lake 'O' the Hills.

Golden Nugget Camper Park
 | Absolutely perfect!! We were blessed with good weather on our Alaska tour! The folks at Golden Nugget were so helpful. They knew the area and what was a must see for us. The grounds were well kept and the showers CLEAN!!!...Very nice, clean and quiet RV Park!! Lots of room to stroll around and relax.
Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. We have been going there for the past 3 years - it is the largest and best park in Anchorage!! Enjoyed their evening BBQs and entertainment!!
