Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Second Lake, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Carter Lake Trail. A delightful nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express SEWARD HARBOR, and Kenai Fjords National Park is a tremendous location nearby. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Harborview Inn is a great place to spend a night or two; if you're here you can take a       hike along the Grant Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Stoney Creek RV Park is always a brilliant experience. For the duration of the summer months at The Lagoon highs are frequently in the 60's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at The Lagoon drop into the 10's. An exciting thing                  to stop by next to The Lagoon is Lowell Creek Dam. Lakes? Sure, First Lake is nearby. Don't forget to take a perfect little trip to Box Canyon Creek, and close by you locate Lowell Point. From a rainfall point of view The Lagoon is a reasonably typical location; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain, and May is the month with the least moisture. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here at The Lagoon.
