A visit to Kunk Lake is always a good idea. For the duration of the summer months, highs frequently are in the 60's at Kunk Lake while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Kunk Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. Don't leave Kunk Lake without first going for a hike along the Thoms Lake Trail. Kunk Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain while June is regularly the driest month.
