For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 0's, and nighttime lows in the-20's for Knob Lake. Getting to Middle Creek from Knob Lake is easy, and you're perhaps hooked on lakes, Trail Lake is one of those nearby. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Matanuska River - East Fork and Main Stem. Lakes are brilliant; Lake Leila is a lake that's close to Knob Lake.
