All through the summer months at Knob Lake highs are ordinarily in the 60's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 0's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Knob Lake descend into the-20's. Knob Lake is a beautiful lake in the Talkeetna Mountains. At Knob Lake you don’t see much rain; most of the rain falls through       July, and the driest month is April. So much exciting stuff in the Talkeetna Mountains, just striking. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Trail Lake, and if you're here, you could explore Middle Creek. You can run the rapids of Matanuska River - East Fork and Main Stem right next door to Knob Lake, and if you need a place to stay Alaska Choice Inn is a wonderful choice.
