Kings Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Iceworm RV Park is a tremendous local campground; you can run the rapids of Archangel Creek. There's so much to do here at Kings Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Denali River Cabins and RV Park is a tremendous site for that, and there's whitewater on Little Susitna River for all you thrill seekers. This lake is located in the wonderful Talkeetna Mountains. Kings Lake gets very little precipitation;

| | September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is April. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining things to do in the Talkeetna Mountains. A good close by hotel is ALASKAS SELECT INN WASILLA, and a lake nearby is Mud Lake. Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff to do in the vicinity of Kings Lake. is a wonderful place to get some rest, and Kings Lake is not the only place close by, Mud Lake is a close by lake. The warmest time of the year at Kings Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures
drop down into the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Kings Lake temperatures descend to the 0's.
