Kepler Lake is located in the Talkeetna Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Little Susitna River in a kayak, and in the vicinity of Kepler Lake you hit upon a golf course called Fishhook Golf Course. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Talkeetna Mountains, not enough time. Camping at Mountain View RV Park is always a fine experience, and not       far from Kepler Lake you'll stumble on Long Lake which is a picturesque lake. Gold Miners Hotel is a great site to get some rest. Lakes are pleasant; Triangle Lake is a lake that's near Kepler Lake. So many amusing things to do at Kepler Lake, so little time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Archangel Creek; dry warm beds await you at Agate Inn. Through the summer months at Kepler Lake highs are usually in the 60's while night lows are ordinarily in the                  40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Kepler Lake plunge into the 0's. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Talkeetna Mountains. Kepler Lake gets very little rainfall; September is when you get the most rain here, and April is the month with the least moisture.
