Kennedy Lake is located in the Talkeetna Mountains. Kennedy Lake is pretty arid commonly; throughout the month of September you get the most rain around here, and April on the other hand is the driest. Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do near Kennedy Lake. Sleepy Hollow Golf Course is a golf course right next door to Kennedy Lake. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the Talkeetna Mountains. If you       need a site to stay Creekside Cabins is a great choice, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Archangel Creek. Throughout the summertime at Kennedy Lake highs are regularly in the 60's with overnight lows in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Kennedy Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. Kennedy Lake is not the only location nearby, Finger Lake is a nearby lake, and get wet paddling                  on Little Susitna River. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Mountain View RV Park; getting to Cottonwood Creek from Kennedy Lake is easy.
