Throughout the summertime highs here at Lake Kathleen get into the 60's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Kathleen dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Montana Creek; on a tremendous day you can take a hike along       the Bear Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake Kathleen that you need to camp here for a while, Spruce Meadow Recreational Vehicle Park is a perfect place for that, and a lake nearby is Peanut Lake. Stay the night at Auke Bay RV Park, and Lake Kathleen is not the only place close by, Lake Florence is a close by lake. If you need a site to stay Best Western Country Lane Inn is a great choice. Get wet paddling on Mendenhall                  River, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Distin Lake Trail. Lake Kathleen gets lots of water; during the month of October you get the most rain around here; April is the month with the least moisture. If you go for the outdoors, you'll adore Lake Kathleen.
