A pleasant place to camp here at Lake Kathleen is Spruce Meadow Recreational Vehicle Park, unsurprisingly you could also stop at Lake Florence since you're here; it's not far at all. Any time is a great time at Lake Kathleen if you fancy the outdoors. A lake nearby is Peanut Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Country Lane Inn. trail, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Mendenhall River. Lots of rain falls at Lake Kathleen; all through October this area sees the most rain; April is the month with the least moisture. Lake Kathleen is splendid
enough to spend more than a day at, Auke Bay RV Park is a splendid local campground, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Montana Creek.
