Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake Kathleen are in the 20's. Get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Montana Creek, and do take a hike on the Bear Creek Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Spruce Meadow Recreational Vehicle Park is a great place to camp, and hiking along the Distin Lake Trail is good fun.
