If you like lakes and you're in this part of Alaska you can check out Lake Kathleen. Throughout the summertime highs here at Lake Kathleen get into the 60's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Kathleen dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. There's so much to do here at Lake Kathleen that you need to camp here for a while, Spruce Meadow Recreational Vehicle Park is a perfect place for that, and a lake nearby is Peanut Lake. Stay the night at Auke Bay RV Park, and Lake Kathleen is not the only place close by, Lake Florence is a close by lake. If you need a site to stay Best Western Country Lane Inn is a great choice.
