Hiking is a popular thing to do around Kasnyku Lake; Sitkoh Lake Trail is a wonderful local trail, and some of the water nearby flows, like Takatz Creek. All the water falling down from the sky makes Kasnyku Lake a wet spot; October is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is June. This lake is so wonderful.
