     Alaska has many beautiful lakes and Jim Lake is one of them. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable things to do in the Talkeetna Mountains. McRoberts Creek is close to Jim Lake and is always a bliss to check out, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moose Creek. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Jim Lake reach the 60's, and the overnight is rather colder of course, ordinarily  
   in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Jim Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. A lovely lake like Gull Lake near Jim Lake is a good place to go to, and a good spot to camp here at Jim Lake is Kroa Kamping Resorts-alaska. Jim Lake is frequently a relatively waterless place; most of the rain falls during September while March is regularly the driest month. Whohoo, so much entertaining
 
               stuff in one place! Jim Lake is so good! What would winter be without some skiing at Alyeska, and if you need a spot to stay Gold Miners Hotel is a good choice.
Jim Lake is located in the Talkeetna Mountains. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Talkeetna Mountains. You'll hit upon a striking lake called Gull Lake near Jim Lake, and Jim Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Pinnacle Mountain Recreation is a perfect local campground. Golf can be played at Palmer Golf Course, and a nice place for whitewater paddling is Wolverine Creek.

I think Alyeska has the highest elevation drop in Alaska but I could be wrong. Needless to say we're pretty ok with snow up here in Alaska, there's so much snow here you can't believe it. The skiing is perfect perfect! I cannot get enough of this mountain ever! Do wear plenty of clothes though....
