Lakes? Sure, Sundi Lake is in the vicinity, and nice skiing awaits you at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Campbell Lake Dam since you're here at Jewel Lake, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Anchorage Golf Course is around here. This lake is so wonderful. There are wonderful places to look at along the Bull Rock Trail, and Katmai National Park & Preserve is one of the destinations that are great to explore

| | close by. Campbell Reservoir is a pleasant lake right next door to Jewel Lake; Lake View Bed and Breakfast is a nice place to get some rest. During the summer months at Jewel Lake highs are typically in the 60's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Jewel Lake. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Hilltop, and you can stay | |

the night at Polar Bear Inn. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Campbell Creek, and Jewel Lake is a place with many visitors from Anchorage. You simply must go for Jewel Lake. Getting to Campbell Creek from Jewel Lake is easy,
and dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Anchorage Airport. At Jewel Lake you don’t see much rainfall; September is the month that gets the most rain, and April is when it's the driest. There's so much to do here at Jewel Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hiline Lake Wilderness Camp is a wonderful place for that.

Golden Nugget Camper Park
 | 11 miles away Absolutely perfect!! We were blessed with good weather on our Alaska tour! The folks at Golden Nugget were so helpful. They knew the area and what was a must see for us. The grounds were well kept and the showers CLEAN!!!...Very nice, clean and quiet RV Park!! Lots of room to stroll around and relax.
Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. We have been going there for the past 3 years - it is the largest and best park in Anchorage!! Enjoyed their evening BBQs and entertainment!!
